Making the Most of Mobile

23rd August 2017

The Melting Pot - Edinburgh

1 - 4 p.m.

Mobile technology provides us an opportunity to offer universal access to learning experiences, but what do we need to be doing differently to make it work for society at large?

eLearning has for many years offered the tantalising prospect of opening up the world of learning & development to the population at large.  Whether you have a job or not, have the funds available or not, or come from a background where learning is not encouraged, technology give us the chance to offer learning opportunities to a wide population.

But does recent experience match the rhetoric? Much of what we see as eLearning is being used primarily in a corporate environment (industry or education), so what of those who are excluded (for whatever reasons) from these opportunities?

Our next discussion group will focus on the opportunities that “mobile” present us, and ask what we need to be doing differently to make the most of what’s on offer.

The Meeting will take place at The Melting Pot in Edinburgh between 1 & 4pm on Wednesday 23rd August.

This meeting is free for eLearning Alliance Members to attend.  There is a £30 charge for non-Members.
